Music Biz, NYC.
I work at The Orchard in New York City with the new Artist Services team. I am also the GM of label Instant Records and worked as an artist manager from 2013-2017. And I assist Orchard founder Richard Gottehrer with his production studio.
In 2017 I launched Instant Love with the goal of amplifying love in the world with love songs between women, listen here. The project also has a physical release, podcast, and artist interview series.
“It is about the wonderful impracticality of unconditional love — wherever, whenever and with whomever” - NPR
“That rare and perfect balance between homage and freshness.” – Consequence of Sound
I worked on the management team for The Raveonettes, Dum Dum Girls, Denmark's Fallulah, and The UK's Dan Owen.
I am from New Orleans and have worked in LA, London, and NYC. I was a member of the 00's NYC band Action Painters (2006-2009) and later worked with WonderSound Records (2011). In 2013 I received a Masters in Global Music Business from the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain and returned as a visiting professor in 2018 as well as in Boston in 2019. I have also spoken at Canadian Music Week, the Clive Davis Institute, and SiriusXM "Debateble" and "Feedback Live."
In addition to music, I’m also a science fan, so check out the section where I explore and share the “woah.”
