Music Biz, NYC.

I work at The Orchard in New York City as GM of label Instant Records, digital music distribution, and artist management.

In 2017 I launched Instant Love, a digital series of famous love songs sung between women for the first time. The music celebrates mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, lovers, and everything in between, as well as explores the modern gender and sexuality spectrums. The project also has a physical release, podcast, and artist interview series.
“It is about the wonderful impracticality of unconditional love — wherever, whenever and with whomever” - NPR
“That rare and perfect balance between homage and freshness.” – Consequence of Sound

I work on the management team for The Raveonettes, Denmark's Fallulah, and The UK's Dan Owen. I also work with The Orchard's recording studio with producers and songwriters to discover and incubate young rising talent.

I am from New Orleans and have worked in LA, London, and NYC. I was a member of the 00's NYC band Action Painters (2006-2009) and later worked with WonderSound Records (2011). In 2013 I received a Masters in Global Music Business from the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain and returned as a visiting professor in 2018. I have also spoken at Canadian Music Week, the Clive Davis Institute, and SiriusXM "Debateble" and "Feedback Live."

My debut rock romance novel "The Sunrise Calls It a Night" is (fingers crossed) coming soon...
